We need your feedback...

Before we get all summer-headed and forget that the TGGDs even exist, we'd like to get some feedback from past and future participants on a couple of things:

1. We need a mission statement. To help create one, we've set up a page on the wiki - please go there and add your thoughts/input and hopefully we can come up with something that accurately represents what our goals are as a group.

2. We're having some excellent luck in attracting sponsors, and with their financial support, we'd like to set up a program that will allow 10-15 female students in tech-related fields to attend our monthly dinners at no cost. There are two parts to this that we need input on: which schools and programs should be on our lists to participate (i.e. how do we get the word out), and logistically what type of system should we have in place to ensure a fair rotation of individuals and/or programs. Again, we're going to try and leverage the collaborative power of the wiki on this one - please head on over to the dedicated page and help us develop a fair process for this.

Don't forget that we also encourage you to add your picks for future speakers and topics on the wiki, and that our next event will be held Wednesday September 19th, with Leila Boujnane as speaker. Location/sponsorship details to follow!
